Oz Unsweetened Chocolate
½ Cups Sugar
½ Tsp. Vanilla
½ Cups Chopped Walnuts
Cup Cherry Pie Filling
Oz. Unsweetened Chocolate
Tbsp. Light Corn Syrup
Cups Powdered Sugar
Whipped Cream (optional)
Fresh Mint (Optional)
Melt chocolate with shortening over warm water; cool slightly.
Blend together eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt; stir in chocolate mixture, then the flour. Fold in walnuts. Turn into well-greased
8-inch square pan.
Bake at 325° for about 40 minutes.
Spoon cherry pie filling over hot brownies; spread carefully. Let cool.
Spread Chocolate Glaze over brownies.
Serve with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprig of fresh mint.
